The plot follows Sanjay Singhania (Aamir Khan), a powerful entrepreneur and chairman of a telecommunications company called Air Voice, who suffers from anterograde amnesia after a violent encounter in which his love interest, a model named Kalpana (Asin), was killed. After a severe blow to the head with a metal pole, Sanjay’s memory resets every fifteen minutes. He can remember nothing new beyond that short window, but his drive for vengeance remains a powerful force.
