Marking the return of Joseph Williams on some tracks and Bobby Kimball on others, this was a cohesive effort that blended the old and new styles of Toto. The Mature Era (2000–2006)

The end of the road for this specific discography. This album is a progressive rock masterpiece. "Falling in Between" includes a percussion breakdown that changes time signatures every four bars. In FLAC, the decay of the ride cymbal, the attack of the piano stabs, and the growl of the distorted Hammond organ are utterly discrete. It is the perfect swan song.

Listening to Toto IV in lossless audio is akin to sitting directly in the mixing chair. The subtle horn arrangements in "Rosanna" and the legendary, textured percussion (including a cowbell and a kalimba) in "Africa" are rendered with flawless clarity, making it an essential addition to any high-fidelity music collection.
