Commercial body positivity often centers on young, moderately curvy bodies. Naturism inherently includes aging bodies, mastectomy scars, colostomy bags, and mobility aids. Many long-term naturists report that watching elderly participants swim or play tennis nude reshaped their fear of aging. This extends body positivity into a lifespan perspective that mainstream movements neglect.
There is no such thing as a naturist body. There is no dress code (ironically). The community is famously accepting of all ages, sizes, shapes, colors, and abilities.
