Smartcard Reader Install - ((better))
Open Device Manager, right-click the reader, select Update Driver , and choose Search automatically for updated driver software while connected to the internet.
sudo dnf install pcsc-lite pcsc-lite-ccid pcsc-tools smartcard reader install
A notification will appear in the system tray stating, "Setting up a device." Wait for the notification that reads, "Device is ready." Step 3: Manual Driver Installation (If Needed) Open Device Manager, right-click the reader, select Update
The system will start a test routine. It should display the name of your connected reader and indicate whether a card is inserted. Press Ctrl + C to exit the test. Step 4: Configure Browser Access Press Ctrl + C to exit the test
Wait a few moments after plugging it in. If the device's LED light stays solid or blinks rhythmically, the OS has likely initialized it.

Press Win + R , type services.msc , and press Enter. Locate the Smart Card service. If it is not running, right-click it and select Start . Set its startup type to Automatic to ensure it starts with Windows.
