The story is set in the quiet lanes of Deep Nagar in Jalandhar, Punjab, and revolves around Omkar Singh (played by the brilliant Pavan Malhotra), a retired police constable who now runs a small grocery store, hoping for a peaceful life with his devoted wife, Sargun (Supriya Pathak), and their two sons, Happy and Tegi. However, their world is shattered one night when Happy, an IPS aspirant home on break, accidentally shoots and kills an intruder who breaks into their courtyard in a drug-fueled stupor.
